Bookings Open – District Camp 2017

I’m delighted to announce bookings are now open for the District Camp. It’s going to be a great camp with lots of activities for all sections. The full Activity Programme will be circulated in due course. Updates will also be posted on the district website (see

Please contact me for the booking forms – please read these carefully as they contain important information:

Group booking form – Use this to book your places on the camp. We need to know approximately how many adults and youth from each section are attending. Please note 50% deposits need to be returned by 7th March in order to secure your places.

Staff booking form – Use this if you intend to book as staff. We have a variety of roles to fill, whether this be for the whole or part of the weekend. There is no charge for staff other than a small contribution towards food costs (catering kindly provided by the 325th).

Manor House booking form – If you prefer to sleep in the Manor House rather than under canvas then please complete this form. There is a cost for the use of the Manor House which the District has subsidised to keep it reasonable. Please note it is free for any person who is unable to camp under canvas, for whatever reason.

Please can you return your Group booking form back (with deposit) as quickly as possible so we can book and secure all the activities as soon as possible based on the numbers attending, thank you.


The Organising Team would like a small group of enthusiastic Explorers who are willing to give up an evening or two to assist in the Explorer Programme planning for the camp. Can you please ask and put anyone in touch with me who is interested. Thank you.
