District DofE Advisor Search – Cole Valley South

The search is on for a new volunteer team leader for our DofE provision in Cole Valley South, and we need you to think about anyone you know who would thrive in this role!


Please have a read of the below which sets out what we are looking for and how to get involved. Please forward this onto anyone inside or outside of Scouting that you think would be potentially interested in joining our team.


So what is the role?

As District DofE advisor, you would look to support your District’s Explorer, Network and Young Leader Units in running and delivering the DofE Award. Your key role will be the local support contact to enable you to develop existing DofE programmes in your district as well help create new ones in areas and units that may not yet be currently delivering the programme.


You will also work alongside the County Advisor and other District Advisors to help progress and improve the delivery of the award within Birmingham County.
