The District Scout team are running a PLs and APLs Training weekend, 27th – 29th January 2017, at Mancetter Scout HQ, nr Atherstone. The training is open to current PLs and APLs and is a training / fun weekend to meet other PLs and APLs from the District and to learn some useful skills to become better leaders for there patrols. There will also be a District Scout youth forum over this weekend which the Scouts will have a say in what they want from the District (more info to follow about this).
As we have the team in place there is no need for leaders to attend this weekend and is up to the young people to get there and back. (If you wish to arrange transport for them that is up to you, but there will be set time for arrival and departure.) The cost for the weekend is £25 to include accommodation, food and all activities.
To make sure it is fair for every group to have someone to attend INITIALLY each group will be allocated three spaces for Scouts on the weekend (please find attached a flyer for you group to display).
It will be done by 1st come 1st serve basis (with forms and payment) if there is still spaces by the 6th Jan there MIGHT be opportunity to book additional scouts from you group.
Please note :- ALL FORMS AND PAYMENTS MUST BE TO US BY 16TH JANUARY, this is for catering and organisation reasons and for us to get some additional information out to the scouts attending.
