About Cole Valley South

Welcome to Cole Valley South District
Cole Valley South District covers the southeastern quarter of the city, including the areas of Acocks Green, Hall Green, Yardley Wood, Billesley, Kings Heath, Moseley, Sparkhill, Balsall Heath, Selly Park, Bournville, Kings Norton, and West Heath.
The District is home to 19 Scout Groups, which collectively run:
- Squirrel Scout Dreys
- Beaver Scout Colonies
- Cub Scout Packs
- Scout Troops
- Explorer Scout Units
- A District Network Unit
These groups and units provide an active and varied Scouting programme for boys and girls aged 4 to 24. All activities are managed and delivered by dedicated adult volunteers.
With over 1,200 youth members and more than 300 adult volunteers, Cole Valley South is one of the larger districts in Birmingham County. However, more adult volunteers are needed to ensure Scouting can be offered to even more young people in the area.
